Since the launch of the Government subsidised housing scheme, raft foundations is utilised as a fast, economically priced and reliable solution to the ever growing lost cost and affordable market.

We are equipped with all the necessary plant and equipment to design and install 5 – 20 units per day. As a requirement a power-float finish is part of the product.

Residential

With the advantage of production, competitive costing, accuracy and reliability the Raft foundation has taken the residential market by storm.

The raft foundation installed by Raft Crete, can be designed to accommodate loading that varies from single storey to 5 storey buildings. The system can form part of a composite structure if necessary. It can be combined with piling to support the edges if there is a risk of erosion due to water on the edge of a dam.

Basements:The raft foundation is designed and can accommodate basements, large retaining wall and swimming pools as a part of the raft foundation structure.

Industrial / Commercial

Large shopping center, builders warehouses and other industrial commercial buildings were constructed with success on Waffle Raft Foundations.

Raft Foundations is successfully used in the construction of large foundations that supports steel and concrete columns. With the use of surveying equipment and skill the positioning of starter bars, grid lines and hold down bolts can be installed accurately.

The system and equipment make it possible to install 2000 m² within 14 working days. Large shopping center, builders warehouses and other industrial commercial buildings were constructed with success on Waffle Raft Foundations.
